The area we hunt in SW Montana has no mobile service, which I love because I am allowed to unplug. But, that creates communication and safety challenges for our hunting party. So much time is wasted waiting and worrying instead of getting back to hunting.
RCR had excellent solutions to put the right handheld Midland 5W radios in our hunters hands, personally assisted us in programming them for our needs, and also hooked me up with a 50 W unit for my truck.
This has allowed us to keep hunting, stay in touch, and stop worrying about logistics and hunter safety.
Highly recommend RCR to anyone who has the same backcountry communications concerns.
Got what I ordered and expected, ordered the F350 hood edge mouth, antenna and radio, though I do not recommend the antenna quick disconnect as it is a little loose and vibrates just put some thread lok on that antenna. PreTuned too! thanks! We use radios for truck to truck comms as needed.

I recently purchased a pair of teraflex antenna mounts for my 82' cj7. They were the type that goes behind the taillights, and I couldn't be happier with them. The installation was super simple and one of the easiest things I have done. I will definitely order from them again.

Replaced a defective Uniden 980 SSB with the President George FCC. The radio works great and has more features than I will use. I also like the four knob mounting bracket instead of the usual 2 knobs. Makes for a sturdy mount. Very pleased with purchase.

Received the antenna quick release. Works great. Would recommend it to anyone who needs one. Easier to remove antenna then trying to use wrenches each time to remove it.
Everything that Right Channel Radios has done has been nothing short of amazing! I received everything that I ordered and with all of the learning center videos on the website, I know that I will get the CB to the settings that I am supposed to get for great transmissions.
