Description

You don’t need to poke holes into your 4x4 to get a factory looking setup. This easy install requires no drilling and mounts to your hood. It’s designed specifically for 2002 and newer GMC/Chevy trucks, Chevy Avalanches, Tahoes and Suburbans. Simply attach the mount to existing holes in the driver's side of the hood frame, up top near the windshield. Recommended for antennas up to 4' tall and for drivers that hate to take a drill to their beloved vehicle.

Recommended for: Silverado models 2001 to 2006, and Avalanche, Tahoe and Suburban models 2002 to 2007. Recommended for antennas up to 4' tall. For newer Silverado models, please see the Chevy Silverado 2007+ Mount.

Compatible with: All CB antennas that use a standard 3/8" x 24 threaded base. Lug stud requires terminal or ring-style CB coax.

Installation Notes: Designed specifically for GMC vehicles, this mount uses existing holes in the hood frame to mount easily and securely. The antenna mounts on the driver side and sits at the top of the hood near the windshield. If you want a factory look without drilling any holes in your vehicle, the 2002+ GMC mount is ideal!

Highly Recommend.

I was skeptical but this has proven surpass my expectations. Using this mount combined with a Fire Ring antenna connection makes for the look of a factory installation. The most difficult part is feeding and attaching the mounting bolt due to limited space. Do yourself a favor and use a small feed wire to pull it through and keep it all together. Good product but makes the antenna stand crooked. Other than that, it's nice and sturdy.

Thanks for the review Patrick. If the antenna is leaning off to one side, try grabbing the antenna and pushing/pulling it straight. This will often fix or improve the antenna lean.
