If you’ve got a “Big Mama” on your vehicle (that’s trucker slang for a big antenna and, coincidentally, our nickname for Mike's girlfriend), then you know how important it is to keep it protected under any circumstance. The Heavy-Duty CB Antenna Spring will keep the base of your antenna flexible, with just enough give so the road doesn’t take. Ideal for antennas 4’ tall, the stainless spring is rust- and weather-resistant. We recommend a super heavy-duty spring for antennas over 4’ tall, a.k.a the real “Big Mamas”.

nstallation Notes: Easy, tool-free install. Screw the spring into any CB stud or mount, and then screw the antenna into the top of the disconnect. Spring can also be used with a quick disconnect; they're simply stacked/screwed on top of one another. Each spring is about 3" tall.

Every antenna should have a spring to protect the antenna, mount and vehicle. These springs are made from long-lasting, top-grade electro-polished stainless steel. The upper and lower inserts are made of chrome-plated machined brass and have standard 3/8" x 24 threads to fit all standard 3/8" antennas, mounts and accessories. The heavy-duty model may be used with antennas up to 48". Each spring is about 3" (76mm) tall with a diameter of 0.800" (20mm).
