Description

Ideal for Hummer drivers, this stainless steel Firestik mount attaches to the inside groove of the factory roof rails for a clean install. Be sure to choose a terminal or ring-style coax cable, as there's not much space between the mount and the roof of the Hummer for installation.

Recommended for: Mounting fiberglass or center-load CB antennas on Hummers with factory roof rails.

Compatible with: All CB radios, and all fiberglass and center-load antennas that use a standard 3/8" x 24 threaded base. Compatible with Hummers that have factory roof rails.

Installation Notes:

This mount fits nicely in the groove of the Hummer's factory roof rails. To fit the mount inside the roof rail, turn the mount upside down and slide the loose rectangular end between the rails. The bolt heads will be facing down, and the nuts will be facing up. Attach the antenna stud and coax cable (we recommend a ring or terminal end coax cable) to the mount. Once the antenna stud and cable are attached, you can tighten the mount to the roof rack. 

Note: In order for the mount to ground to the frame of the vehicle, you may have to scrape off some paint on the inside of the roof rail.

It did not fit the roof channel. It was designed for jeep.

I ordered this thinking I could install it on my dad�۪s 2009 Hummer H3. It seems this mount is only for H1�۪s and H2�۪s. The mount is simply too small to use with the factory roof rails on an H3. I wish this was stated in the product description. It�۪s also worth noting this is simply a Jeep fender mount with terminal style antenna stud.

Not for H3’s
