Medium CB Antenna Spring

Whack, whack, whackwhackwhackwhack. Hear that? It’s the sound of low hanging branches, thick brush or the drive-through clearance bar giving your antenna a decent beating. Protect your CB rig with our medium-sized spring, designed specifically for antennas that are up to 3’ tall. This durable, stainless steel spring is rust- and weather-resistant so you don’t have to worry about it lashing around in the elements either. For antennas above 3’, we recommend our heavy-duty spring.

Compatible with: All fiberglass antennas using an industry-standard 3/8" x 24 thread.

Installation Notes: Easy, tool-free install. Screw the spring into any CB stud or mount, and then screw the antenna into the top of the disconnect. Spring can be used with a quick disconnect; they're simply stacked/screwed on top of one another. Each spring is about 3" tall.

Every antenna should have a spring to protect the antenna, mount and vehicle from hits to the antenna. Firestik springs are made from long-lasting, top-grade electro-polished stainless steel. The upper and lower inserts are made with chrome-plated machined brass and have standard 3/8" x 24 threads to fit all standard 3/8" antennas, mounts and accessories. The medium-duty model works especially well with Firestik's 2' KW & FS series antennas, as well as the 3' FL or RP antennas. Each spring is about 3.0" (76mm) tall with a diameter of 0.800" (20mm).
