Trunk Lip CB Antenna Mount

Use the Firestik trunk-lip mount to easily install a CB antenna on the edge of a vehicle trunk, usually between the trunk deck and the rear window. There's no drilling required, as two screws on the mount tighten from underneath to secure the bracket in place. The rear side of the bracket has support feet with rubber bumpers to protect the vehicle finish. The mount comes with a lug-style antenna stud and an Allen wrench to tighten the set screws. Recommended for antennas up to 3' tall.

Installation Notes: The trunk-lip bracket slides over the trunk edge, usually between the trunk deck and the rear window. Two set screws are tightened from the underside to hold the bracket in place. The gap between the movable and unmovable areas (trunk deck and vehicle body) needs to be about 0.100" (3mm) to accommodate the mount. Additionally, the underside requires about 0.5" (13mm) to accommodate the bottom of the bracket with set screws. These measurements are provided for reference; this mount is nearly universal and should fit nearly all vehicle trunks.

Firestik CB Antenna Mount: The trunk-lip bracket slides over the trunk edge, usually between the trunk deck and the rear window. The rear side of the bracket has support feet with rubber bumpers to protect the vehicle finish. The mount comes with a K-4 antenna stud and an Allen wrench to tighten the screws. Recommended for antennas up to 3' (92cm).

The mount is 2" (50mm) wide and 2.5" (63mm) deep. It stands 1" (25mm) above the vehicle surface without the stud mount, which will add 2.1" (53mm) when in place. The gap between the movable and unmovable areas (trunk deck and vehicle body) needs to be about 0.100" (3mm) to accommodate the mount. Additionally, the underside requires about 0.5" (13mm) to accommodate the bottom of the bracket with set screws.
